A very long time since posting as I decided to wind down the busiiness.
As some of you will remember I had a shop in RWB for a while as well as being on line. One of my customers had a child at Springboard Chippenham and I heard all about the good work they do. It was agreed to support this school alongside Greatwood at a the Wroughton Silver Band Summer Concert next Saturday. See below for details.

Keep clear in your diaries 16th July 7.30 for the Wroughton Silver Band’s Summer Concert at the parish church.
The concert is in memory of two people that were very special to the band. Danny Lyons their longstanding Eb bass player who passed away on Oct 1st just a few weeks short of his 96th birthday and Mrs Julia Langton their late president who gave the band a great deal of support and sadly passed away on 16th January 2019.
No charge to enter 😀but there will be a retiring collection for two charities crucial in their support to children and young people.
Springboard, chosen by Danny’s family based in Chippenham, the only 0-5 preschool to support children with diverse needs that wouldn’t be supported in a main steam setting and , Greatwood, chosen by Julia’s family a charity based in Clench Common near Marlborough the first charity to rehome former racehorses to educate disadvantaged children and young people.
Do come along for a fab evening of musical entertainment 🎶🎶🎶

Its a very long time since I've posted so my apologies for this.
I've decided to change things slightly and will be rebranding over the next few months-do do watch this space!! Its taken me an age to make this decision but seems to be the sensible thing to do and we all need a change.
It does mean that we have lots of bargains to be had on the website as I need to clear things out to make room. Its mostly past season but quality is just as good as always.

For Sarah Everard. May she rest in peace.

A slightly different post as we have some exciting changes coming to the shop this year and wanted to tell the story behind .

Our late daughter and sister to Jo and Alex is the reason behind Nikki Nocky Noo. Nikki had just turned 15 when she died. I always wanted to have something to pay homage to her short life that she lived to the fullest never shying from anything. Nikki always believed in quality not quantity and so the shop has been based around this principal. How do I know this? One day she asked for smaller Christmas stockings for her and her sisters.I immediately brought them thinking what a thoughtful child she was, and then the crunch line "you can put better things in them now" 😂
Nikki loved shopping and children so a children's shop with lovely clothes seemed a good way to go. Nikki was a good organizer and enjoyed projects raising money for charity and so it seemed she would believe in paying workers who made the clothes a decent wage hence our choice of suppliers.

Nikki lost her life to she had many defects some very rare that generated great interest in the world of cardiology. A doubled edged sword but meant that she had the best doctors looking after and continually discussing her. We will always be comforted to the commitment shown to Nikki as they tried to navigate their way round what she threw at them. With them and the nurses who so skillfully nursed her at the times when she was ill we shared the roller coaster of ups and downs.
is a much underestimated condition but yet more children and teenagers die from this than any other childhood disease. Something I never knew till after she had died. Enough sadness!
Today would have been Nikki's birthday. No doubt she'd had been frustrated by a lockdown birthday but she'd had still made sure she had fun! Raise a glass to her to her tonight!
