We’ve just a couple of tables left for our Cheese & Wine evening, with live acoustic music from Larry Turner & Grace Fahy.
Somerset cheeses are on the boards this time, were spoilt for choice living in this county, but we’ve managed to make the final edit! A generous board, paired with a beautiful wine from our new list.
It’s just £20/per head (+ £1 booking fee) and includes a glass of wine, a cheese board and entertainment.

🧀🍷 An Evening of Somerset Cheese, Wine & Live Music

Join us on Friday 24th July as we celebrate some of the very best food and drink Somerset has to offer, while unveiling our brand new wine list.

Enjoy a generous cheeseboard featuring a carefully selected range of Somerset cheeses, supplied by The Fine Food Company, perfectly paired with wines chosen in collaboration with Somerset Wine Co. After an enjoyable tasting session with their team, we’ve curated a wine list we’re excited to share with you.

We’re also hoping to welcome guest speakers from our suppliers, who’ll introduce some of the wines, explain what makes them special, and offer advice on matching wine with cheese.

Providing the soundtrack to the evening will be Grace & Larry, performing live acoustic music throughout the event. Their warm, laid-back style creates the perfect atmosphere to relax, chat with friends and enjoy an evening of exceptional local food and wine.

Something rather special is about to begin here at The Emporium…

Behind every historic house lies a story.

For the past few months we’ve been researching the fascinating history of Wyndham House, the beautiful Georgian building that is home to The Emporium, here in the heart of Yeovil. Built in the 18th Century as the grand townhouse of the Wyndham family, Wyndham House has stood on Princes Street for centuries and witnessed so much history through the ages.

What started as curiosity has grown into something much bigger.

Today we’re delighted to introduce The Wyndham House Project.

This is our journey of discovery, exploring the history, architecture, traditions and forgotten stories of this remarkable building, while reimagining how its rooms might once have been lived in and enjoyed.

From afternoon tea and elegant interiors to craftsmanship, travel, food and fragrance, we’ll be bringing the spirit of Wyndham House to life through a series of stories, experiences and collections over the coming months.

Whether you’ve visited us once or have been part of our journey for years, we’d love you to come with us as we uncover the next chapter.
