How about this for perfect timing - just as I am stepping back from offering one-to-one tuition Bugweeds are reopening for classes! I definitely recommend them for group sessions, and am planning to make it to some of their socials (with my work hat firmly off!)

After my mammoth fabric washing session the other day I've been working on some personal projects in my 'spare' time. First to be finished is this skirt from border print poplin - I'm pretty pleased with how it's turned out, especially the fact that it has pockets!!

This pretty patchwork dress is heading off to its new home today, I just hope we get some warmer weather soon so they can actually wear it!!

I finally got in to visit Bugweed's Fabrics & Crafts Ltd new physical shop today, yay! It's such a lovely shop, with a wonderful selection of fabrics you really will be spoilt for choice.

It's a minor miracle I only brought these 3 lengths home with me, I'm looking forward to getting them sewn up :-)

This vintage-inspired patchwork dress is fresh off my sewing machine this morning. I can't wait to get it on the mannequin and take some full-length photos.
