The Tokyo Tweed, woven by the historic Fox Brothers mill in Somerset, celebrates a friendship between two gentlemen united by a shared passion for classic menswear. Douglas Cordeaux in Great Britain and Mr. Akamine in Tokyo, Japan, a sartorial partnership built on mutual respect and craftsmanship, spanning continents while staying rooted in tradition.

The cloth itself is a rich Country-City mélange, combining the earthy colours of Somerset with the understated sophistication of Tokyo. Distinctly British in pattern, yet carrying the character of two cultures meeting through a shared love of exceptional cloth.

Designed for versatility, it makes a superb sports jacket, whether paired with charcoal or mink flannels, rich stone corduroys, or even dark Japanese denim for something more relaxed. A future classic in the making.

A seasonal crossover edit in Loro Piana, each cloth earning its place.

Plain tonals from "A World of Colours," a 260g/mt cotton and cashmere blend (95% cotton, 5% cashmere). The cotton gives it crispness and durability, the cashmere lifts the handle and drape, the kind of combination that bridges seasons rather than sitting in one.

Alongside them, two pieces from Loro Piana's Denim collection: a 360g/mt cloth in 100% cashmere, and a 610g/mt Super 150s wool double cloth built for outerwear. Loro Piana source their cashmere directly from Mongolian herders and control it through every stage from fibre to finished cloth, which is part of why even their heavier cloths keep that softness. The Super 150s rating refers to the fineness of the wool fibre itself, doubled here for the weight and structure a good outerwear cloth needs.

The two checks are limited edition "Proposte Giacche" for Fall/Winter 2026, a small seasonal run, once they're gone, they're gone.

This mini houndstooth check comes from Abraham Moon & Sons, one of the last vertical woollen mills left in Britain, spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing all under one roof in Guiseley, Yorkshire since 1837. Finished with a navy paisley lining for a flash of personality where only the wearer knows to look.

Congratulations to Ryan and Kimberlee, married in fine style at Allerton Castle in Yorkshire. A privilege to have played our part, having crafted Ryan's bespoke dinner suit for the occasion. He wore it handsomly.

Soft grey pinstripe with enough texture to keep it interesting up close.

Peak lapel cut wide enough to hold its own against the DB front. Six buttons in tonal mock horn. Patch pockets front and back, which keeps things from feeling too formal. Hand rolled linen square for the finishing touch. Open collar, no tie.

Two jackets. One cloth, told two ways.

Woven by Loro Piana from a blend of 71% virgin wool, 15% silk and 14% linen, this fabric brings warmth, sheen and texture together in one weave. Light enough for the warmer months, with enough structure to hold a proper jacket's shape.
