A belated Happy New Year to everyone.

First project of 2026 finished and to say it’s a standard easy garment for me, I don’t mind admitting I’ve struggled. This was due to a couple of personal things happening along with the January Blues and not being able to concentrate. However, I’m back on track and ready to take any requests or orders from now 😊.

Luckily there wasn’t a time scale for this cardigan, as it’s for my 4 year old granddaughter whose favourite colour is purple. The addition of a Teddy yarn for the front rib and a few embroidery stitches makes it one of the cutest things ever ☺️

Easter is my next focus so if there’s anything you have in mind, let me know and I will see what I can come up with

I’m not a designer of knitwear (maybe some day 🤞🏼) but when a 7 year old asks for a new cardigan in light pink, dark pink, white and a pretty pattern what do you do 🤷‍♀️.
You grab your self patterning wool of course and put your own spin on a pattern from your collection!

I’m pleased with the results and so is the recipient, especially the sequins that add a bit of 🪩
