Still have this in stock and just noticed that this event took place 39 years ago today. One of the great British sporting contests Big Daddy v Giant Haystacks. Doesn't seem that long ago i'd have been glued to world of sport watching these contests on a Saturday afternoon. 1982 £35

Early start at Rufforth autojumble. Not our usual 'fair' but giving this a go. Hoping for a dry morning. ..and daylight would be nice.

So this was a 'thing' back in the 70's and early 80's. If you were lucky enough to have a home phone it was a rotary dial which took 'ages' to make a call.. If your neighbor wanted to borrow your phone they'd leave 5p towards phone bill in a little money box and if you didn't want your kids ramping up the bill you'd put a lock on the phone so they'd have to spend their own money queuing outside a red box in the rain & dark to call their friends. 😀 All these items currently in stock if you'd like to recreate these golden years of telecommunications. PS.... if you were really posh you'd have a special table that you could put your phone on and sit and chat to people.
