I guarantee you've never seen this being made before.

I get emails and messages asking if I can make all sorts of hats but when this customer said he'd like to order this particular hat I jumped at the chance.

Iron Maiden were part of the soundtrack to my youth and they've stayed with me ever since.

The year my band played (2007), took us to go meet before he started his live radio show but sadly we got there a few mins too late as the show was already on air. So close yet so far.

If you're not an Iron Maiden fan you probably won't get this at all but Eddie is as much part of the band as each musician.

He is on every album and single cover, All of their merch and has been onstage at every gig in some form throughout their whole career. He was brought to life through the incredible artwork of who designed all of maiden's cover artwork.

A closer look at my Indiana Jones inspired hat.

This is a classic 1930's style fedora with a squarer shaped, centre crease crown. My version has an even brim width all the way round the hat unlike Indiana Jones hat replicas.

I do not offer a screen accurate Indiana Jones hat so please don't ask.

When the hat matches the guitar.

The guys at have loaned me one of their Scorpio body guitars to try out.

It turned out to be a purple one, the exact shade of purple used for the hat band on my Jimmy Hendrix replica hat.

Obviously, I had to play some Jimmy Hendrix so here's me hashing my way through the intro to 'Little Wing' using the Jimmy Hendrix preset on my spark2 amp

This guitar is insane. Sounds like a vintage strat but the neck is slimmer than a fender so this feels great for my smaller and often aching (from hat making) hands.

These guys are a small local business following their dreams in a extremely difficult market, especially at the moment (if you play guitar you'll know what I'm talking about).
