Our first time entering a swimsuit in the National Queen Pageant competition and we really got creative with this piece..

Congratulations to Miss St. Patrick on capturing Best swimsuit and Best in Swimsuit titles last evening !

Emanating the raw sensuality and sacred power of the spice isle, Ms. St. Patrick, Germaine La Borde, emerges as a Spice Goddess: a vision in molten bronze, draped in the essence of Grenada’s soul.

Her cover-up flows like the island’s lush hills, inspired by the vibrant green leaves of the ginger plant, it whispers of nature’s abundance and quiet strength. As she unveils the look, she reveals a swimsuit that radiates both heritage and heat.

Crafted from liquid bronze spandex, the suit shimmers like sun-kissed skin, powerful, earthy, and divine. Across the front, golden spirals wind their way on the torso, a refined homage to the intricate beauty of ginger’s rhizomes, rooted, healing, and complex. At the midsection, a striking macramé panel evokes the handwoven spice baskets of Grenadian tradition, intertwining cultural reverence with contemporary allure.

The pièce de résistance: a sculptural wire bra, adorned with swirling motifs mirrored by an exquisite continuation of swirling wirework down her spine depicts the underground twists of the ginger root, a testament to depth, resilience, and divine femininity. Transparency Post (it’s a long one guys bear with me 😭)
The pageant journey is terrifying!
I’ve never been the girl who loved the spotlight, wore beautiful gowns, or posed for cameras. My favorite accessory? My sweet, sweet grey hoodie (iykyk 😂).
Before this event, I didn’t even have anything to clear from my page — social media was just for chitchatting with friends, not for sharing the photos I wasn’t taking.

If ayu had told me two years ago that I would be running for Ms. St. Patrick, the laugh I would have let out would’ve been embarrassing! But today, I am so grateful for all the firsts I’m experiencing.

This pageant has asked me to open myself up in ways I never felt confident enough to before — to embrace the parts of me I would normally pick apart in the mirror. It’s teaching me to see the beauty of my soul reflected outward and to have the courage to share it with you all.

I am blessed beyond words for every single one of you who supports me along this journey.
Your grace, love, and kindness remind me that I am never alone.

My campaign focuses on embracing authentic beauty — a cause that is near and dear to my heart because it is also a daily reminder to myself:
I am beautiful, in every form of the word.
