Celaro closed its doors on Saturday for the last time and so I would like to take a moment to say thank you.
Firstly to, Carole Emmett, who enabled me to fulfil my dream and to all of you, the customers, for your continued support throughout and right up until the end with literally a handful of pairs remaining!
Secondly to my staff, past and present, for their commitment and support over the years especially since the end of 2023 when my husband received a cancer diagnosis and required treatment on and off island in 2024. I was with him through it all but they ensured the shop remained open and was ready for business.
Thirdly to a certain Chris George, not only my photographer responsible for my amazing pictures, but the one who encouraged me to embrace Social Media with my Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn pages. I needed a lot of convincing. It certainly was worthwhile Georgie so yes you were right!
Finally a big thank you to my husband, Ken, who has provided unwavering support. He has understood the time and dedication required to run a business and has stood in the wings without complaint. It’s now time for us!
I have had the most wonderful journey and all that is left to say is ‘now you lot go and enjoy wearing all those Celaro shoes!’
