Odadee Dr Selorm Tsrakasu, (2007) Kwansa House Captain Makes Presec Proud; Now 2025 Mandela Washington Fellow.
“Selorm Tsrakasu is a passionate pediatrician and committed child health advocate in Ghana. A proud member of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons under the Pediatric Faculty, he earned his medical degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) School of Medical Sciences. He is a proud Odadee. He is deeply dedicated to facilitating positive change in the lives of others. He has led and supported several medical outreach initiatives for the elderly and has organized child health advocacy campaigns, including those focused on Newborn Jaundice, Prematurity Awareness, and free pediatric care for children in rural communities in the Volta Region. His commitment to service extends internationally through his volunteer work with Operation Smile International.
Beyond his professional commitments, Selorm enjoys reading, watching movies, and engaging in adventurous travel, particularly to Ghana’s exciting tourist destinations. His blend of medical expertise, advocacy, and compassion continues to inspire lasting impact in both clinical and community settings. He will be at University of Delaware under the fellowship's Leadership in Civic Engagement track.”- US Embassy, Ghana.
