How much money are you losing because you don't know your real worth as a fashion designer?
Many fashion designers are working hard, taking measurements, buying materials, sewing late into the night... yet the money doesn't seem to match the effort.
Why?
Because they are pricing based on what customers want to pay, instead of what the work is truly worth.
A beautiful outfit is not just fabric and thread. It includes your skill, creativity, years of learning, equipment, electricity, fitting sessions, and the time you spend solving problems that customers never even see.
One mistake I see often is designers charging for the garment but forgetting to charge for their expertise.
The truth is, if your prices only cover expenses and not profit, you are running a busy hobby—not a sustainable business.
Here's a mindset shift: Your price is not a reward for how hard you worked. It is the value of the result you create and the business you are building.
Take a moment and ask yourself:
If you calculated every cost and paid yourself fairly, would your current prices still make sense?
