Some people are just claiming to serve God because an opportunity came in the church to serve, when another opportunity comes in the world that is not even consistent with God's will or word they will still take it. They don't mind being part of anything worldly or sinful provided it will put food on their table. Such Christians are inmatured without any conviction about their faith as new creation.
1 Corinthians 10:21 KJV
Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.
Be watchful when doors open. Not every open door is to lead you to heaven, some seek to Rob you of your faith in Christ, call you out of the local church and land you in hell. Always check which cup is placed on your table. Sometimes when God sets you a table, the devil sets another with great delicacies beside it. Be watchful in prayer!
