It’s a long day today. The kind of day that reminds us how fragile life is and how deeply we can miss someone. Lord, teach us to number our days and help us hold our loved ones a little closer.
People often say, “The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away.” I believe that. But believing it doesn’t make the pain disappear. Grief doesn’t end because the words are true; it lingers because love was real. Some losses leave an ache that only God’s comfort can carry.
Rest in perfect peace, Sadia. May the Lord have mercy upon your soul and grant you eternal rest.
So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.Psalm 90:12
