Alexandra Bissa

Alexandra Bissa Textile Design Artisan Alexandra Bissa is a textile designer based in Athens, specialized in weaving.

Using an electronic dobby loom at her studio, she is creating unique handmade products, often with references to architecture, art and old traditional patterns. Her designs are original and follow contemporary fashion trends. The designer supports the emerging trend of Slow Fashion by producing limited edition products. She develops textiles on an on-demand basis and collaborates with other local

designers and high end fashion brands. She supports Greek businesses and environmental causes by purchasing organic threads from local providers.



Η Αλεξάνδρα Μπίσα είναι σχεδιάστρια υφάσματος με εξειδίκευση στην υφαντική. Το εργαστήριο της βρίσκεται στο κέντρο της Αθήνας όπου και υφαίνει χειροποίητα προϊόντα περιορισμένης παραγωγής σε χειροκίνητο ηλεκτρονικό αργαλειό. Ακολουθώντας τις σύγχρονες τάσεις της μόδας, δημιουργεί προϊόντα χαρακτηριστικής οπτικής ταυτότητας εμπνευσμένα από την αρχιτεκτονική, την τέχνη και την παράδοση.

Κάθε δημιουργία της αποτελεί πρωτότυπο προϊόν περιορισμένης παραγωγής με φυσικά νήματα, αναδεικνύοντας έτσι τη μοναδικότητα του χειροποίητου και της αποκαλούμενης Slow Fashion. Η Αλεξάνδρα συνεργάζεται με οίκους μόδας υψηλής ραπτικής και με σχεδιαστές που μοιράζονται το ίδιο ενδιαφέρον και πάθος να ανακαλύψουν νέους τρόπους εφαρμογής των υφαντών σε προϊόντα και χώρους.
