Twelve years ago today, on the 19th of July, Elixir opened its doors for the very first time. It feels only right that our last words arrive on the same date.
Over the past weeks of winding down, our shelves have never looked emptier, and we hope you enjoyed one last round of shopping with us.
But today is not about the clothes.
When we announced our closing, we wrote that everything in this world has a limited lifespan, and that this is part of what makes things precious.
These twelve years were exactly that. Precious.
Not only because of the clothes we were excited to carry and present, but because of the beautiful souls they brought through our door: the designers who trusted us with their work, the friends we found along the way, and every one of you who arrived as a stranger and left as part of the story. Thank you, once again, from the bottom of our hearts.
The Elixir story ends here. This is not a full stop though. Rather, a CODA
