Ioanna Thanou was born in Athens and she studied Economics of Finance at the Kapodistrian University of Athens. She worked for several years as a bank and pharmaceutical representative but her passion for creativity and her curiosity on how to transform a soulless material into something magnificent lead her to establish “DonodiDio” jewels company. “DonodiDio” took its name from the jewellery designer “Ioanna” whose name means in ancient Greek “God’s Gift”.
