Leda Athanasopoulou creates jewellery that seamlessly blends Greek heritage with contemporary design. Her iconic Eye Ring ( ) reinterprets the traditional Greek mati, the blue eye amulet worn for protection and good fortune, into a refined everyday talisman. Crafted with a delicate 14k gold band and a freely moving blue glass bead, the piece captures the spirit of Greek summer, memory, and connection in a modern, wearable form.

We chose to bring Leda Athanasopoulou to our shop because her work embodies everything we value: thoughtful craftsmanship, timeless design, and meaningful storytelling. More than jewellery, her pieces carry a sense of affection, protection, and cultural identity, offering modern heirlooms that can be worn daily, gifted with intention, and treasured for years to come.

Inspired by travel, contemporary art, architecture, and traditional craftsmanship, Elsa Poux has created a universe that is instantly recognizable through its bold graphic patterns and refined use of color. Since launching the brand in Paris in 2010, she has developed collections that combine creativity with authenticity, working with skilled artisans and favoring natural materials such as cotton, silk, and wool. Her approach blends modern design with ancestral techniques, giving each piece a timeless yet artistic character. We were drawn to Mapoésie because it represents more than fashion or decoration …it is a creative expression of craftsmanship, individuality, and everyday beauty, values that reflect the spirit of our store.

Pantone 16-1439 Caramel is my colour palette of the month, chosen for its deep connection to Ancient Greece and its warm, earthy visual language. The shade reflects the tones found in terracotta amphorae, sun-baked clay, and weathered stone that defined everyday life in classical Greece, from household objects to sacred spaces. It also echoes the softened, golden surfaces of ancient temples and sculptures shaped by centuries of light and time. As my palette of the month, it brings together this sense of antiquity with a natural warmth and elegance, grounding modern design in the enduring material culture and timeless aesthetic of Ancient Greece.
