🧵 十分鐘完成晚裝設計！ 

🌹同學仔提早做完半身裙，剩下的時間如何打發？玩公仔啦！給了她幾塊布，轉個頭才10分鐘，她居然已經 drape 好一個晚裝設計！😯

💃Evening Gown designed in 10 minutes!
The young student finished her skirt early, so she needs 10 minutes to kill in class before release. I gave her a few fabric pieces. 10 minutes later, she's already draped a design of evening gown!😘

🌹Chinese Organza Long Blouse with embroidery !  Nealry done; need to sew on the cloth buttons.
Sustainable Fashion - All hand made with traditional Chinese couture tailoring technique. 

📍- Hand-sewn collar will stand up straight (machine sewn collar will be floppy).
📍- No visible machine stitches at all seams.
📍- All internal seams finished by blind-hem and French seam.

The difference between a low price and high price Chinese garments lies in:

(1) Fabric quality
(2) labour cost. The labor cost is reflected by the amount of hand sewing work.

A knowledgeable consumer can see the difference in the construction method as well as fabric quality, in addition to design style.

📍- 手工縫製的立領挺括立體（機縫衣領則較為塌軟）。
📍- 所有接縫處均看不到衣車縫線。

高價與低價中式服飾的差異主要在於：

（1））面料品質
（2） 人工成本（人工成本直接體現在手工縫製的工序多寡）

識貨的消費者能輕易看出服裝在製作工藝與面料質素上的差異， 而不只是服裝款式。

🌹Chinese Organza Long Blouse with embroidery !  Work in progress

All hand made with traditional Chinese couture tailoring technique. Spent the entire typhoon No.8 day attaching the facings (technique is much harder than the concept). 

✂️Essential tools: scissors, needle and thread, iron, glue and knife, pen, water.

Journey of tailoring.

全手工傳統中式工藝製作。花了整個八號風球假日製作貼邊（縫製容易， 縫的平整難）。

✂️基本工具： 剪刀，針線，燙斗，漿糊，刮刀，筆，水。

繼續深耕匠人精神。
