BANGKOK: Bangkok International Fashion Week 2026 | The Medium.Asia Edit
Thai creativity, individual expression and an international outlook.
We are back to watch its 19th edition, Bangkok International Fashion Week returned this October across Siam Paragon, Siam Center and Siam Discovery under the theme “TH-nomenal Extraordinary: Lead the Culture, Wear the Future.”
Our edit brings together runway highlights from อิชชู่ ไทยแลนด์, CHATO, NAGARA and PAINKILLER Atelier Bangkok, alongside conversations and familiar faces from the shows.
Our featured designer is Chato Studio, a label we see as one to watch internationally. Its celebration of individuality and unpretentious beauty offers a perspective that can resonate well beyond Thailand. We spoke with founder Ms. Wachana Charoensomsamai (Wachana Chars) about “Dancing Flower,” a collection that draws parallels between the distinct character of each flower and the uniqueness of every woman.
At PAINKILLER Atelier Bangkok, actress and model Darran Zeththinich Chanavarasutthisiri (Zeththinich Chanavarasutthisiri), known for The Face Thailand and a long-time attendee of the brand’s shows, shared her take on the collection: minimal with a cool, edgy sensibility, with pastel pink and blue pairings catching her eye. We also caught up with emerging talents Peerapat Jarutasroj (Peerapat Jarutasroj) and Arm Pitchayapong (_ ▁ ▂ ▃ 📸 ).
