TAL has been recognized by CDP as a 2025 Supplier Engagement Leader, achieving an A score in CDP’s Supplier Engagement Assessment.

CDP’s Supplier Engagement Assessment evaluates companies’ climate-related supplier engagement based on their CDP disclosure, including governance, targets, Scope 3 emissions, risk management, and value chain engagement.

For TAL, this result reflects the work we have put into building a more structured approach to supply chain sustainability, including Scope 3 emissions accounting, science-based targets, supplier environmental requirements, and engagement with key suppliers through tools such as the Higg Facility Environmental Module.

We appreciate this recognition and thank our teams, suppliers, customers, and partners for their continued support and collaboration.

There is still much more to do. We will continue strengthening supplier engagement, improving emissions data, and supporting climate action across the apparel value chain.

This achievement is a testament to TAL colleagues who work every day to advance sustainable actions and accountability. We are excited to see the launch of the new promotional video produced by the Textile Council of Hong Kong.

The video showcases five local success stories covering key transformation elements, i.e., cross-sector collaboration, product diversification, material innovation, technological advancement, and digitalisation. Most importantly, the interviews highlight how industry leaders such as TAL are embracing innovation and technology to break through traditional boundaries and address modern day challenges.

Mirroring Hong Kong's economic progress, the local textile industry has come a long way since the 1950's. The industry has demonstrated its resilience by adopting new processes to drive not only business transformation but also sustainable development.
