We just wrapped a month with four interns from Foundation, here to get a real look at how a global sourcing and supply chain company runs.

We couldn’t have asked for a better group. They showed up early, asked questions past the point they needed to, and kept wanting to see the next step before we'd even offered to show them. Setting the standard above and beyond.

We're grateful every time a group like this comes through. Their energy reminds the rest of us why we do this work, and some days, it gives the place purpose we didn't know we needed.

Thank you to the SEED Foundation for trusting us with four great students, and to our interns for all your hard work and enthusiasm.

We're opening our doors for the Yarn Show at our Hong Kong office, and we'd love to have you there.

Here's something we see often: the yarns that look beautiful in a lookbook don't always perform the same way at scale. Hand feel, drape, colour behavior, none of that translates through a photo or a spec sheet. You have to feel it for yourself.

That's exactly what this show is for. Come spend time with the samples, ask our sourcing team anything, and walk away with a clearer read on where the season is heading before you commit to a direction.

We had our annual team building dinner with the Taiwan office last week. It was a proper night out to celebrate the team and all their hard work.

This year's edition had a look back at the year, awards handed out to people who really earned them, and a room full of good energy all night and good vibes.

We're proud of our Taiwan team. They show up, do the work, and do it well, without needing to be asked twice. Nights like this are the least we can do to say thank you.

So, thank you. Truly. Here's to another great year together.

A trim board looks like a small decision. On this scale, it isn't.

Every buckle, handle, and clasp gets tested against durability and hand feel, and checked next to the material itself, before it earns a place on the board. It's a step we run on every collection, not just the ones a client happens to ask about.

Skip that discipline and the wrong hardware won't announce itself here.

It survives the board, then fails under weight, wears loose at the strap, or clashes with the material once it's already in production, when the fix costs far more than the hardware ever did.

A supplier's sample rarely tells the whole story. Fabric behavior, hand feel, dye consistency, none of it survives being reduced to a product photo or a spec sheet.

This month our team was on the ground in Guangzhou, working supplier floors row by row, testing trims, fabric, and accessories in hand before anything gets cleared for a client's catalogue. Nothing here gets approved from a screen.

This is the layer most sourcing decisions skip, and it's the layer that determines whether a reorder comes back clean or comes back with a claim. Years of doing this in person is what lets us catch the failure before it becomes your problem.

Two pattern directions we're tracking for women's cold-weather accessories this FW27.

Argyle motifs are back with real confidence, fair isle knit hats, scarves, and matching sets in mauve, cream, and rust, plus playful horse-print jacquards. Matching sets only read intentionally when the pattern lines up across pieces; inconsistent tension in multi-colour jacquard is fully exposed the moment a hat and scarf sit side by side.

Striped ideas are moving toward bigger, cozier ex*****ons: chunky mohair scarves in lavender and orange, rainbow fringe wraps, colourblocked ponchos, striped balaclavas. Scale is the risk here. Uneven stripe width and pilling in mohair-blend yarns show fast, and they're what separate an elevated cozy piece from one that looks cheap after a wash.

Women's bags for FW27 are narrowing into three directions we're confident in.

The everyday tote is doing the heavy lifting. It's the category buyers reorder most, which means ex*****on has the least margin for error. Hardware and stitching that hold up through a full season of daily use is what separate "everyday" from disposable.

Key elements are sharper this season. These are structured shapes, and structure reveals weak leather fast: thin or overtreated hides crease and lose their line within weeks, not seasons.

Colour is where the range comes together. Bombay Brown and Chive anchor the warm neutrals, Riverside and Navy Peony bring a cooler, more utilitarian edge, and Zinfandel and Moonless Night hold the deep end. Getting these tones aligned across leather, canvas, and hardware at scale is where most reorders are won or lost.
