dorastrasser - Textile ornamentation with a deeper meaning: analog-digital creations that fuse nature and art, made wearable.

The visual language of the artist and designer dorastrasser is rooted in both theoretical and practical studies – history of art and architecture in Vienna and Chicago, where she completed a Master’s degree, and fashion and digital textile design at the University of the Arts London. She taught art education at secondary schools for many years. In her current work, she combines her cultural heritage of Viennese Modernism with impressions drawn from nature (she works in an atelier in the Austrian mountains), and contemporary digital processes. Each of her designs is one-of-a-kind and can also be created in virtual space as a joint project with clients.

A special summer evening deserves a special location☀️

Located on the PLAZA at Franz Josef Station, francis combines a concept store, coffee bar and meeting place with an incredible view over Vienna.

Across approximately 250 square metres, visitors can discover a carefully curated selection of fashion, jewellery, accessories, stationery, ceramics, cosmetics, culinary products and much more.

The focus is on quality, sustainability, fair production and regional value creation, with many products coming directly from Vienna and Austria.

Behind francis Market and DESIGNQUARTIERE is May-Britt Alroé Fischer, who is organising the Summer Late Night Shopping together with us and supporting the event with an incredible amount of experience, energy and passion.
