Az ing bordó vászonból készült; a nyaka, csuklója és a gombháza bársonnyal díszített. A szoknya piros babos pamut vászon. A derekas kötő muszlinszerű anyaga enyhén áttetsző, fehér, műszálas, s alján fehér csipke van.
The shirt is made of plain bordeaux cotton; the cuffs, neckline and button placket are decorated with velvet. The skirt has a playful polka dotted print to it, and is also made of cotton. The fabric of the apron is a lightly translucent, white synthetic one; it has white lace on the bottom trim.

Kraszna vidéke különlegességnek számít a Szilágyságon belül, mind táncanyagában, mind viseletében. Annak, aki még nem ismeri a nagyon elpolgáriasodott, bátor minta- és színvilágot használó viseletet, könnyen meglepetést okozhat. A krasznaiak nagy előszeretettel használnak különféle virágos és babos vásznakat, és esetenként akár műszállal kevert szövetet is.
A női viselet jellemző darabjai:
- Lengyel ing - avagy a rövid, buggyos ujjú, enyhén csinosított, polgárias formájú ing, amin több helyen is előfordulnak az apró letűzések, akár az elején, a hátán vagy az ujján is; a letűzéseken kívül, népszerű díszítési mód a gombház mellett és a nyak körül lerakott, az ing saját anyagából hasított szalag.
- Mellény - amit diszkrét, fekete zsinórozással díszítenek.
- Lájblis ujj - avagy, a drágább anyagok esetében használt megoldás, amikor is egy teljes lengyel ing helyett csupán annak ujját varrják meg és fércelik a mellényhez.
- Pendely - vagyis a szoknya, amelynek az alján apró tűzések futnak körbe, s ezeket szokás kétszer is levarrni.
- Derekas kötő - ami egy derékban lerakott, magasított derekú kötény, melynek széles korcába merevítő pálcikákat tesznek, a csinos forma megtartása véget; ennek az alján is előfordulnak a kétszer levarrott letűzések.
- Kerek kötő - avagy kantáros kötény, amit alól cloche-ba szabnak.
Az itt bemutatott szoknyák aljának mindegyikén nehezék és koptató zsinór is van. A lengyel ingek mind válltól derékig béleltek.
Costumes of the village of Kraszna
The village of Kraszna is a particularly peculiar one in the area of Szilágyság, both from the point of view of dance and that of attire. Those who are not familiar with the attire strongly influenced by the bourgeois and the bold choices of pattern and colour, may easily be surprised by these costumes.
The people of Kraszna were very fond of polka dotted and floral fabrics, mostly made of cotton and upon occasion of mixed fibers.
The essential pieces of a woman's costume are:
- Polish shirt - a short, puff sleeved shirt, bearing the signs of influence from the upper-middle class; it is often decorated with rows and rows of pintucks on the front, back or even the sleeve; around the neckline and the buttons it is also decorated with pleated ribbon made from the same fabric as the shirt.
- Vest - which is discreetly decorated with black braid.
- Sleeved vest - which is the method used in the case of particularly expensive fabrics; instead of sewing a whole shirt, only the sleeves of the shirt would be made and stitched to the sleeves of the vest.
- Skirt - which is often decorated with rows of pintucks around the bottom.
- Waisted apron - an apron that has a high waist, with boning, to secure the prim shape; it can also be decorated with pintucks.
- Round apron - a pinafore with a bottom part cut in a circle, not unlike a cloche.
The skirts presented in this album all have fabrics sewn into their trim, along with piping, to offer a better shape and swirl to them. The shirts are all lined from shoulder to waist.
