"Intensive pigmentation serum with hydroquinone COS de Baha Hydroquinone Brighteening Serum
Cos de Baha Hydroquinone Brighteening Serum is a very intense and powerful serum to fight pigmentation. In fact, it is the hardest artillery, when other funds do not help. Serum with hydroquinone from the Korean brand Cos de Baha is designed to combat the complex pigmentation of various nature (hormonal, traumatic, photo damage). The tool allows to gradually illuminate pigment stains (melasms, freckles, etc.), and also significantly reduce them in size.
The clarifying serum includes an impeccable combination of the most reference active ingredients: hydroquinone (2%), waterbutin (4%) and niacinamide (4%), as well as cells and milk acid.
Hydroquinone at a concentration of 2% is a secure, allowed FDA concentration for home use. Hydroquinone is the ""Gold Standard"" in the fight against hyperpigmentation. To date, this is the most powerful melanin synthesis inhibitor. Its expressed whitening effect is achieved due to the inhibitory effect on the triosinase enzyme, reduce its activity and oppression of the DNA and RNA melanocytes. The irritating potential of clarifying products with hydroquinone is high, but they tend to work quickly and efficiently.
Arbutin 4% - the mechanism of exposure to arbutin is the same as at the hydroquinone: it blocks the synthesis of melanin - pigment, painting the skin into the dark color, in the pigment cells of the skin (melanocytes). The initial substance for the synthesis of melanin is the amino acid tyrosine, and the waterbutin prevents its oxidation, i.e. it does not allow the first phase of transformation. Arbututin is less effective than hydroquinone, when bleaching the pigment, but it does not have strong irritants and damaging properties.
Niacinamide 4% - in clinical studies was shown that NIA prevents the interaction between keratinocytes and melanocytes, thereby suppressing melanogenesis. It also modulates the receptor activated by protease, which is involved in transferring melanocytes to the surrounding keratinocytes. Clinical trials using 2% niacinamide showed that it significantly reduces the total area of hyperpigmentation after 4 weeks of treatment. Higher concentrations give a more pronounced bright effect.
Koyaic acid is very effective against pigmentation. It reduces hyperpigmentation, suppressing the production of free tyrosinase, and is also a powerful antioxidant. Since it is mixedic acid, and hydroquinone are tyrosinase inhibitors, their combination significantly increases the effectiveness of the means - proven research.
Lactic acid at low concentrations (less than 5%) is one of the components of a natural moisturizing factor. Stimulates the restoration of the skin and keeps moisture in the upper layers, so the skin becomes smooth, soft and elastic."
