Just a little info on what goes on behind the scenes for me when it comes to beadwork..

The reality of it is that it takes a lot of patience and it teaches me a lot about letting go of the control for it to be perfect

And sometimes I think it’s going to be one thing but it ends up becoming something totally different

But at the end it’s all about the love for beading ❤️

Hello beautiful Instagram family 🌸

I haven’t done an intro in a very long time, plus I took a very long break from Instagram to focus on some personal things, not too long ago

So let me introduce myself again 🙂

My name is Sonia originally from Iran but I left at the age of 6 months old to the states, and grew up in New York City

During the pandemic in 2020 I started slowly creating feathered 🪶 hair pieces because I was so in love with them, especially when I would go out dancing or to festivals and would see women with these beautiful feathers flowing through their hair as they move to the music

After some time I had the interest to work with beads and decided to learn through YouTube videos. It definitely was challenging and there were many times I just wanted to give up but something inside of me told me to keep going so I did 🌀

What I thought would just be a hobby turned into a passion. My desire is to inspire women to be fearless, unshakable and fully empowered. I want my pieces to make women feel unique and special. I love dancing 💃🏻 with my pieces so that people can see how well they move with the body and to music

In 2021 I left everything behind in New York City and became nomadic 👣 As I witnessed other cultures I became inspired by their style and it has influenced my own pieces. I have also been gathering pieces from my travels but have yet to showcase them here. They include not only jewelry, but also clothing and accessories

My intention is to create a shop and to eventually show more than just beads and feathers

I look forward to adorning you 🙏🏽💕✨
