This design was inspired by a photograph taken in 1938 by esteemed New York photographer Morris Rosenfeld capturing the majestic sails of a schooner in movement.

I often draw inspiration from other artistic disciplines including the sublime art of photography.

I was recently invited to take part in a radio show with renowned dress designer Don O'Neill for Scariff Bay Community Radio. We discussed a number of topics including our approach to designing for the fashion industry, the importance and preservation of heritage craftsmanship and sustainability in an era of mass production.
