Sometimes it takes a client in the shop looking for a special fabric to bring my attention to lovely book...Today it was the turn of INSTINCT from PRESTIGIOUS TEXTILES.
This is a book of sumptuous velvets, bold weaves, interesting prints and beautiful colour stories.
My client selected the luxurious Zorres velvet for a large ottoman and a selection of the other fabrics for scatter cushions
This kind of careful consideration of fabrics leads to a very well put together room

10 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT THIS IMAGE..

(1) The colour scheme of
GOLDFINCH FEATHER from the PRESTIGE colour range by FLEETWOOD PAINTS used with a soft white on the other walls
(2) The extension of the accent colour across the ceiling, creating a cozy enveloping atmosphere for work or study.
(3) The excellent use of what might be an unused space in your home
(4) The unobtrusive use of a simple natural wood shelf instead of a full sized desk
(6) The incredible view🌳🌳🌳
(7) The simple treatment of the architrave around the window to which you could add a simple screen blind if needed
(8) That someone popped a little blanket in a basket nearby for when your knees get cold🥶
(9) The simple white lighting and accessories
(10) The inclusion of the natural weave rug

My only question is the chair....I love it but it might not be practical as an office chair.

Two beautiful bedsets on our window display this week.
A classic stripe in a striking moss green and white with ɓutton detail and a ditsy design with a beautiful scallop also in this beautiful shade of green and white
And of course we still have our beautiful summer blossoms on display

We are all set for Boyle Arts Festival...
We are looking forward to the artists, the musicians and the entertainers.
But most of all we are looking forward to all who will come to enjoy our beautiful town. Those who will enjoy the exhibitions, the shows and those who will just enjoy soaking up the wonderful atmosphere in this lovely town
