Not every flower blooms at the same time. 🌱🌸

Some bloom early.
Some take a little longer.
Some need to survive a long winter first.
And some grow quietly, where no one is watching.

The thought seems to take one step further —
from simply looking at someone to actually knowing them.

Once you know someone’s name,
they’re no longer just a stranger passing by.

Then you begin to notice their colours — the little things that make them different, the things that make them them.

And the more you learn — their stories, their habits, their quiet little details — the more familiarity slowly turns into connection.

Maybe that’s how it goes:

Look → See → Know → Understand → Love.

Because sometimes, we can look at someone every day
without ever really seeing them.

We see that they’re quiet,
but we don’t know how tired they are.

We see that they’re strong,
but we don’t know how much it takes for them to keep holding themselves together.

We see that they’re different from us,
but we don’t know the stories that made them who they are.

Love doesn’t always begin with finding someone perfect.

Sometimes, it begins when we choose to look a little longer,
come a little closer,
and take the time to know someone beyond what we first see.

Until one day, we’re no longer just looking at what’s in front of us.

We’re truly seeing them.

And maybe…
that’s where love begins.

And every now and then, you’re lucky enough to have both. ❤️

You don’t always have to travel far to find something special. Sometimes happiness is right where you are, with the right person beside you.
