NEW!!! Due to lots of interest I now offer Private Sewing Lessons in your own home. Learn the art of sewing in the comfort of your own home under the guidance of experienced and patient teacher.
Individual Beginner Sewing lesson -- 30 euro for 2 hour tuition ,
Mother and Daughter Beginner Sewing lesson -- 40 euro for 2 hour tuition,
Me and My Friend Beginner Sewing lesson -- 40 euro total for 2 hour tuition.
I supply all the materials, can also supply a sewing machine, or you can use your own.
No extra travel charge on the areas Carrick-on-Shannon, Boyle, Drumshanbo, Leitrim, Dromod. Longer distances may require extra travel charge.

Hello again! A start of the new sewing year! Beginner classes will be running for 6 weeks in Drumsna Community Centre from 6.30pm till 9 pm, starting on Friday 5th of October. The cost is 120 euro. Spring is in the air! And so are the new sewing inspirations! One Saturday per month I'm going to run a Sewing Workshop from my house, from 10 am till 2 pm ( it might run longer depending on the type of the sewing workshop ), with a tea/coffee break. The group number is kept small (4 people max) so everyone can get lots of my attention in tuition.
The date for the Beginner sewing Workshop is 17th of February.

Parent and Child Sewing Workshop. Thursday, 2nd of November, 2 pm till 4 pm, Drumsna Community Centre. Sew together a bunting decoration for family celebrations. Cost 30 euro.

Be Your Own Fashion Designer for Kids workshop will run on 2nd of November, Thursday, from 10 am till 12 pm in Drumsna Community Centre. Cost 25 euro.

Fashion Design for Teens workshop will run on 1st of November, Wednesday, in Drumsna Community Center, from 11 am till 2 pm. Be your own fashion designer - take a pair of old jeans and turn them into a new funky garment.
Cost 30 euro.

Thursday, 2nd of November - Fashion Design for Kids workshop, 10 am till 12 pm.
Thursday, 2nd of November - Parent and Child Sewing workshop, 2 pm till 4pm.
Venue - Drumsna Community Centre.

The schools are back, and so are the Sewing Classes. Autumn is on its way, and what better excuse to benefit from its long evenings or wet weekends than to get crafty and creative. It is great timing to sort out all those long-waiting clothes repairs and alteration jobs, or even dare to learn some dressmaking skills and make a perfect party dress just in time for a festive season!
So, the new schedule for the Sewing Classes is like that :

Beginner's Sewing Classes on Monday morning, 11 am till 2 pm
Advanced Sewing Classes on Monday morning , from 10 am till 1 pm.

I teach beginners and advanced both on Monday morning, but start each level at different times to allow for individual attention for each student.

Also Evening Sewing classes will start in October, running on Thursday evenings, 6 pm till 9 pm.
All classes are held in Drumsna Community Centre.

As last week's Sewing Camp showed kids are very excited about learning to sew and learn fast and easy. We had 3 fantastic days, sewing and stitching, and everyone brought home lots of great creations.
Just reminding that bookings are taken for a Kids' Sewing Camp in Longford on 21st, 22nd and 23rd of August, 10 am till 1 pm in Women's Link Centre.
