I have been knitting since I was eight. Being left-handed, my mum finally gave up and asked my granny to teach me to knit :-) I remember her sat by the stove on winter evenings turning the heels of socks while she chatted. My mother knit for my sisters and I when we were small, and for my daughter as she was growing up. lovely memories! I particularly enjoy making tiny clothes for new arrivals, thinking of the joy they bring to family and friends 💛 I also knit and crochet for children up to age 6/7 years so do get in contact if you would like something made. Happy almost weekend!
As you may know, if you knit or crochet, indeed any craft, when you are on your travels, you will check out craft shops where you are visiting or staying 😊😊 Mr PCK, being the very patient person he is, is always happy to come along 😊
Had wanted to visit woolworksdrogheda for ages, and so happy to get there last week!
The shop, the selection of yarns and craft items, and how friendly the owner was, I’d highly recommend if you are ever in the area.
A few photos of the shop, a lovely vist and picked up some gorgeous colours 😊
