It’s the last day of the year and I’ve been debating with myself what to do. But I must decide in 2024 and not delay it.
This is the end of Kids Love Cotton. The past 7 years were amazing. I’ve learned so much and met wonderful people on my way. Every child’s smile when they put on a hoodie or a headband warmed my heart. Every converted parent made me scream ‘yes’ inside, when they said Kids Love Cotton were so comfy and their favourite outfits for their child. This journey was truly wonderful. Thank you!
Kids Love Cotton were born from passion for sewing, for comfortable outfits for my own children. From day 1 I promised myself that when this passion is gone and sewing becomes a chore I’ll have to stop. So, is the passion gone? No, still there, but… business needs attention, redevelopment every so often, fresh ideas, most of all time. Time, that for the last while I’ve been borrowing from my children. And when I try to give them back some of that time, the business is falling behind… Mum’s guilt either way. I can’t step into 2025 with this feeling.
As you can see, it’s time to pause Kids Love Cotton in the current form. However, I’ll maintain Instagram and Facebook accounts only, so you can contact me if needed.
