Scent of a Woman 1992. Watched it yesterday evening and had completely forgotten the amount of preppy style in it. The students of the Baird School were all head to toe in button down oxford shirts (some buttoned others not) tweed jackets, baggy chinos, bean boots, boat shoes, club ties and below the knee Donegal overcoats.
Philip Seymour Hoffman really got into it with the popped collar on his jacket, the unbuttoned button down and the boat shoes and white socks. And the message at the end about integrity……class.
