St. Stephen’s Green is splendid and of course Merrion Square has its elegant charm, but for me, this is the real little gem of the city.
The Iveagh Gardens, hidden away behind the National Concert Hall is a beautiful little green space right in the middle of the city.
It dates back to the late 18th century and has a number of different names since its origin. Its current one “Iveagh” comes from its connection to the Guinness family in the late 1800’s and the 1st Earl of Iveagh. It seems to have been gifted back to the nation in the late 1930’s and I’m very fortunate to have it on my doorstep for beautiful Saturday mornings like this one.

On a flying visit to beautiful Bath.

“Bring a comfortable pair of shoes, we’re doing a walking tour” were the instructions given to me yesterday. So I did.
London, Lisbon, Paris, Madrid, Hamburg, Munich plus many others and now Bath. These NEVER let me down.

Absolutely nothing to see here apart from a bit of pure Friday indulgence. Cashmeres and Cavendish.
The oxford is our new blue and it feels fantastic. The needle cords are a pre production sample of what’s arriving next week.

If you’re ever in Los Olivas California, go see this guy.
Brad Alan Matthew’s is chef and Co Owner of Bar Le Côte in Los Olivos. A stylish seafood tavern with many accolades to its name including Michelin Guide consecutively since 2021.
After trying a Kempt shirt earlier this summer, Brad reached out for a chat to see what made us tick. We love this kind of approach and find ourselves doing it quite often too. There is always a genuine interest in us as to what makes other business run and something reassuring when you hear about the rollercoaster highs and lows that they experience too. In the end, it was us that cornered Brad for a quick Q&A. Not only did he oblige but offered to get his friend Ryan involved to take some great shots.

At last, our winter shirts have arrived.
Beautiful brushed cotton fabrics woven in Italy and produced in Portugal.

There are two plains. One in a gorgeous winter green and the other in a midnight blue and both finished with a button down collar. Then there is a blue and steel grey plaid check with a soft cut away collar and lastly a navy and grey brushed puppy tooth fabric that looks truly amazing.
