It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our friend and colleague, George Paunescu, who passed away last Wednesday in Romania.
George was a big part of Alteration Centre for over 20 years. He had an incredible eye and an attention to detail that we will never forget. He took great pride in his work and noticed things that others simply didn’t.
George was a true gentleman, always good crack, and someone we shared many laughs with over the years. He was a great man and loved very much.
He will be deeply missed by all of us at Alteration Centre, as well as by the many shops and businesses in and around the city centre, and the friends he made over the years. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
