To my beautiful son on your 21st Birthday,
Where do I even begin? Twenty-one years ago, you came into my life and changed it in the most wonderful way. From the moment I first held you, my heart has never been the same. Watching you grow into the kind, caring, funny, handsome young man you are today has been the greatest privilege and the biggest joy of my life.
You have a heart of gold, and that’s something no trophy, medal or achievement could ever outshine. The way you care for the people around you, the loyal friend you are, and the respect you show others makes me prouder than you’ll ever know. Your passion for your sport, your determination, and your never-give-up attitude are just a few of the many things I admire about you.
People often tell me what a lovely young man you are, and I always smile because I already know. You’ve made being your mum so easy, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better son. You are everything I ever hoped for and so much more.
