Our Story

Kane Shoe Repairs has the continued pleasure of saving soles and heeling our customers for a whole three generations. Opened by Robert Kane in 1967, the torch was handed to David Kane in 1981 and is to be passed in time to Owen Kane, and we hope to continue to serve the people of Midleton and Cork for many more happy years to come. As a traditional shoe repair service, we believe in repairing shoes (and most anything else!) the good ol' fashioned way with a wee bit of ingenuity and modern magic thrown in amongst the best materials we have to offer.

We as a family business take pride in providing work that is clean and professional, and most importantly, work that will put a smile on our customers faces.

As the fashion world and the way shoes are fabricated continues to change, we too change to meet the demand. Be it a gentleman’s Loake, Ecco or Bugatti; a ladies Gucci, Michael Kors, or Dunnes; or a beloved suitcase, handbag or satchel; or the local rugby club’s beloved tackle bag, we strive to take our hand to any job to ensure that our customers are delighted to see a job well done.
