This week’s question: How long in advance do I need to order my wedding dress?

Our guideline is around 12 months before your wedding—and here’s why. 🤍

✨ 6–7 months for your dress to be made and delivered.

✨ Once it arrives, you’ll come in for your pre-fit appointment, where you can try on your gown, choose your veil and accessories, and make sure everything is coming together perfectly.

✨ Alterations usually begin around 8–10 weeks before your wedding, giving plenty of time to achieve the perfect fit.

Planning ahead means you have more choice, a relaxed experience, and no unnecessary stress as your big day gets closer.

Just a little update from me…

I had an operation last week, so over the next couple of weeks I’ll be taking things a little easier while I recover.

We’re open as normal and Aishling is taking the lead for all booked appointments, you are all in good hands. I’ll be in and out of the store, but if you need to collect a dress or accessories outside of an appointment, could you please give us a quick call first? If there are no appointments booked, I may head home a little earlier to continue recovering.
