A friend of mine had made a quilt for her 9 year old son. It was the story of his life to date. I loved it! Especially his "little red wagon" under the apple tree. I was immediately hooked. Since then I have been making quilts, wall hangings, cushions and other cute bits, but all with a story relating to the person that I am making the piece for. I use appliqué, embellishments or fabric to illustr
ate the story. Each piece is unique to the individual and their story. I get great joy to see these pieces become cherished and treasured by the person. I love crafts and am always creating or making something for a season, holiday or event. Anything from Christmas Decorations to Birthday gifts or simple postcards. There is something special about recieving a hand-made gift, knowing the effort and time that went into creating it.
