Mily Designs Sewing funky comfortable clothing at great prices for kids to play in. Based in Ireland and sewing when the babies are asleep!

At mily designs we are interested in beautiful, interesting and unusual fabrics used in places you wouldn't always use them. Don't worry we also use them traditionally too. We want kids to look cute but be comfortable when they play. So soft stretchy fabrics feature a lot, as do hard wearing fabrics, all personally tested by my two little rascals who love to play! We have a passion for up-cycling and repurposing so some items may have been preloved, but in a different form.

If you (or your kid) likes having a comfy bum, hit me up, I'll sort you with something colourful and comfortable!

Made using organic cotton lycra when possible, but always using cotton against your sensitive bits 🤣 yes you'll probably have a visible panty line, but you'll definitely be able to breath down there (and that's way more important on these hot summer days!), in fact you'll probably want to show these un**es off on purpose cos they're so much fun!

There's a slight wind here or at fenor so getting these shots wasn't the easiest but they look so bright and colourful.

Sooooooo I figured out how to make the bikinis reversible! I've made a couple of adjustments and I'm going to get them tested. I'm trying out thicker and thinner ties (these ones are thinner, and I think they could do with being thicker)

They aren't going to hold your b***s up but they'll definitely cover (well mostly cover 😅) the bits that you want covered, everything else will be on display!

Other things I've been making are these tiny bikinis, I need to test them on people but I think they will be flexible sizing (you can adjust the ties, cut off what you don't need and tie a little knot at the end). And there's potential to make them double sided, so they'll be reversible and you'll get two bikinis in one. These two are just the prototypes and future versions will have slight adjustments to the finishing of them.

They'll have minimal coverage but you can make them cover less or more depending on what you like.

I think they're super cute, and they are comfortable, I haven't worn them swimming yet but they'll be tested soon.

How cute is this little bubble romper?

I'm getting back into sewing and wanted to make something new. This has a lined bodice and a cute front curved seam. It easily pulls off from the shoulders, and looks so whimsical and girly in this flower print.

I'll have to give this one to my littlest niece to test out. I can make it up to a size / age 10 so maybe I can do matching with Fiadh 🤔 I'd love one in my size too though to be honest 😅
