The beauty behind reusable nappies is that they do not harbour nearly as much bacteria as disposable nappies do.

During our time at the at the beginning of October, we got chatting to a lot of new and expecting parents.

One of the main things that we talked about with all these parents is what is the reason that they are making the switch to reusable baby products?

Every answer was different - their bin only gets collected once every 2 weeks, they wanted to save a bit more money, they used reusables part time on baby number 1 but wanted to use them full time for baby number 2…the reasons were endless but the end result was still the same - they made the choice that suited them as a family.

While we were at the Pregnancy and Baby Fair last weekend, we noticed that each parent had a different reason as to why they wanted to make the swap to reusable nappies for their baby.

- One parent shared that they were starting early potty training and wanted their baby to feel when they were wet.

- Another parent wanted to reduce the amount of waste going into their bin - they lived in rural Carlow and they were on baby number 2 so they were well aware of how much space disposable nappies were taking up in their in.

Each family is different, has different needs and different reasons for swapping - it is all down to what suits your family.

Kate has been a busy bee this weekend

Thank you so so much to all the parents (new and expecting) that came to chat to us and learn all about our reusable nappies. It has been a very successful weekend and we couldn’t been happier with the feedback we have received!
