And just like that 4 weeks flew by and we are now CLOSED.
Yesterday was an emotional day for all of us but it was also a lovely day too. Thank you to everyone that came in wishing us luck, expressing their gratitude for all we have done, for the cards, flowers, chocolates, biscuits and processco. We felt truly appreciated by so many. And a shout out to our most regular customer Tony Gallagher. I know he will miss us but we will miss him too. Give Tony a shout this summer for a trip up the Blackwater river. Thank you to our families and friends for calling yesterday. And lastly the biggest thanks to my wonderful ladies, Paulina, Mary, Fia and Marie, you have been great workers and loads of fun and I will miss ye so much.
Time for family now and a holiday.

CLOSING DOWN
FOLLOWING ON FROM OUR PREVIOUS POST:
WE WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE ITEMS FOR DRY CLEANING AND LAUNDRY AND OPERATE AS NORMAL WITH NORMAL HOURS, UP UNTIL A FEW DAYS BEFORE WE CLOSE.

ALL ITEMS WILL NEED TO BE COLLECTED BY MAY 2ND.
ALL ITEMS MUST BE PAID FOR IN FULL BEFOREHAND.

WE WILL BE CONTACTING PEOPLE TO COME AND COLLECT ITEMS WE HAVE IN THE SHOP, PLEASE COME AND COLLECT YOUR ITEMS.

THANK YOU TO EACH AND EVERY PERSON THAT HAS COME THROUGH OUR DOOR OVER THE YEARS.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the closure of our business, The Laundry Basket Dry Cleaners & Launderette. This has not been an easy decision. The costs of running this particular business have become too high and it is not feasible to continue.
We will close on May 2nd.

We would like to thank every customer that came through our door over the last 14 years. We have had lots of laughter, tears, good fun and many a funny incident at our counter. We also think of those who sadly passed away over our time here.

We would like to thank all the sports clubs, the schools, the hospitals, the hotels, the air BnB’s, the local council and all the businesses for all the support and the business you gave us over the years. We thank our suppliers and maintenance people too.

We would like to thank all our staff for all your work and dedication, your friendship and the laughter we have had over the years. We wish you all well for the future and we will miss you. We thank our past staff too.

We would like to thank our family for their love and support. I would like to especially thank my husband, Eddie; he has been our right-hand man for every job going and we wouldn’t have lasted as long without him.

It is sad, we put our heart and soul into our business and we hope we have left a good legacy behind us, but it is now time for us to have more time for ourselves, our family and our adored grandchildren.
We thank you all for your support.
