DedhFoot Pure organic cotton clothing for kids🌻
Embrace comfort, style, and sustainability🌈

Welcome to Dedhfoot, where we believe that childhood is a precious journey, deserving of the comfiest and most stylish companions. As passionate entrepreneurs, we are driven by a deep appreciation for the wonder and innocence that childhood brings. Our inspiration came from the special arrival of our nephew Agastya, who sparked the birth of Dedhfoot on a beautiful day in October 2021. The Dedhfoot Story
When Agastya came into our lives, we were captivated by his sweet, quirky spirit and the abundance of love he brought. It was then that the idea of Dedhfoot was born - a brand dedicated to celebrating the individuality of every child, just as Agastya did for us. Our Vision
At Dedhfoot, our vision is to provide children with clothing that not only wraps them in comfort but also reflects our rich cultural heritage. We cherish our roots and aim to infuse each design with a tinge of Indianness, embracing traditional motifs, vibrant colors, and artistic inspirations from India's diverse culture. Our creations are a blend of modern style and timeless elegance, perfect for your little one.

Dedhfoot began when someone close to us was expecting, and I wanted her little one to wear something soft, simple and honestly made. So I decided to make it myself.

I started with a lot of stubbornness and not much else. I learned to stitch so I could make every piece exactly the way I wanted. I designed our little elephant and its baby myself, and Chetna Ben turned my sketches into jhablas without a single visible stitch. Some hospitals in Ahmedabad began sending newborns home in Dedhfoot, which still makes me smile.

Dedhfoot never grew as big as I once imagined, and I’ve decided to close it. I’m proud of every piece we made, and grateful to everyone who bought one, gifted one, or simply cheered us on.

We still have some stock left. If you’d like one of our last pieces, DM us.

Thank you for more than four years of letting us dress your tiniest people.

That little D, stitched by us by hand. We add your baby’s initial to each bib, so it feels made for her rather than picked off a shelf. It is done in soft double gauze muslin, the kind that only gets softer with every wash, with a crochet lace edge and a tiny heart tucked in beside the letter.
We love that a bib like this does not have to stay just a bib. Layered over a little dress or a frock it turns into a small style statement, the sort of thing you actually want in the photos, not only the ones wiping cheeks after lunch. It moves from everyday to dressed up without trying too hard, and it holds up long enough to become one of those pieces you keep.
Tell us the initial you would like and we will make it hers.

Okay this just made my whole day. One of my little customers in the muslin shirt and denim, just hanging about at home on a regular morning. He looks so comfy in it, and that is genuinely all I want, soft enough for this heat that they forget they are even wearing it. The print is a little different from the usual baby things, which is the bit I get quietly happy about. I make these a few at a time, so seeing one actually out there being lived in, on a real baby having a normal day, never stops feeling lovely. Thank you to his mumma Dhriti Kanojia for sending this.

White on white. Chikankari, soft embroidery on pure cotton, made into a little frock at our small unit in Ahmedabad. Nothing scratchy, nothing loud. For a first festival, a naming day, a first set of photos. Sized for the first year.

Once a month, we pack ten kits for Paras Advanced center for Fetal Medicine (🤝)
I source the fabric and design what goes in each kit. Chetna Ben stitches every piece and sews the Paras logo onto every jhabla. The two of us roll, fold, tie, and stamp until ten kits sit inside one bag.
Each kit holds a jhabla, a swaddle, a cap, mittens, booties, and a quilted mat. Cotton, soft, sized for the one who just arrived.
Then the bag goes to the hospital, where ten new families take one home.

I went quiet for six months. Here’s where I was.
I didn’t find the kidswear we were stocking attractive enough. Same old market stuff. Boring. I wanted to make our own things, not resell what everyone else was selling.
So I went to Jaipur to source prints. I spent four months learning to stitch, well enough to design properly. I found Chetna Ben, who now stitches for Dedhfoot.
Now each kit is produced at our own unit. No trading business. The cars print, the teal chevron, the reversible bib. Picked by me, sewn by Chetna Ben.
That’s what the six months were.
Dedhfoot is becoming a newborn essentials brand. Hand-packed cotton kits, ethnic wear, daily basics for newborns. Made small in Ahmedabad.
Posting again from here. More coming.
