Bingata is a Ryukyuan dyeing tradition built on one belief that colour should never be afraid of itself.
Maroon, Red, Biscoff, Teal Green, Fuzzy Peach and Ivory - six warp colours running through the weave, finished with Gold and Antique Zari at the pallu. No border holding any of it back. Just a weavologist, a loom, and six colours that were always meant to travel together.

The border has been replaced. By a train. By five languages. By a year that means everything to us.
Every coach on this Locomotive Grey silk saree carries Drapery's founding year in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Edge to edge. No border. Just a story running the full length of the drape.

08/05/2026

The border is gone. In its place, a train.
And in every coach, a year. २०१९. ൨൦൧൯. ೨೦೧೯. ౨౦౧౯. ২০১৯. The year Drapery started, written in five languages, running the full length of a locomotive grey silk saree.
Not just a saree. A moving origin story.

The Drapery Express is back. So our weavologists went back. Same idea, sharpened. The locomotive runs slimmer along the border this time. And it arrives in colours we've been sitting with for a while, Coal Grey, Railway Blue, Signal Pink. Each one a different kind of journey.

The pallu falls in gold. The body speaks in Magenta. No border in between, just a Jacquard Self weave doing exactly what it was made to do.

Grey into black. Silver into silk. A Jacquard Self weave that carries the texture of tree bark and the weight of something much older.
Tree Bark Silk. Borderless Collection by Drapery.

A border is a decision. We chose not to make it.
Four sarees. Two techniques. Colours that run uninterrupted from end to end. When a weavologist works without boundaries, literal ones, this is what happens.
The Borderless Collection. Now live.

Navy blue holds the sky at its deepest. This saree holds everything else.
Cloud dancer white seerlines move across the body the way light breaks through before a storm quiet, inevitable, breathtaking. Gold zari. Antique zari. Wool and silk woven together in an 8 kol weave that takes patience most looms don't have.

Silk. Gold. Wool. One saree.
The moss green seerline, three materials woven into a single drape that carries texture, weight and light all at once. Not a combination you stumble upon. One a weavologist spends years earning the right to make.

Arni's finest. Yours now.

Heritage towns don't innovate. Arni does.

Seersucker lines woven into the body. Zari and wool in the same drape. Three sarees that carry centuries of craft knowledge and zero interest in standing still.
Arni isn't just where great weaving comes from. It's where it's going.

Gold doesn't always announce itself. Sometimes it blooms.
This is the Spring Blossom, a seamless gold zari saree where red, ice blue, lemon yellow and black florals grow across the body like a garden that chose silk over soil. Zari to zari, edge to edge, no seam, no pause, no compromise.
