Sometimes thinking out of the box is not easy.

I sat with this fabric for two days, all the while thinking what could work?

The client was clear- Unique she wanted.

On the drive back home from the studio, I carried the fabric back home, wanted to look at it in good day light.

Suddenly it struck, a shirt dress!!

Used and after multiple edits, here we are!!

Some saris carry stories 🩷

We created this Rani Pink pure silk blouse for our client in Pune. This vintage kanjivaram sari which belongs to her is a part of her bridal trousseau. We created blouse with gold zari and added muted gold coin embellishments to the sleeve. We have maintained the embroidery in one tone of gold, so she can use this blouse with multiple saris. Pure cotton lining and a soft pad, ensure that she remains comfortable through the day.

Some sarees carry stories. 🌸
This one belonged to her mother. And when she brought it to us, there was no blouse piece — just a beautiful dual tone Kanjivaram in blue and purple, and a bride who wanted to honour it on her wedding day.
So we started from scratch. Custom dyed pure silk to the perfect hot pink. A classic scoop neck. Gold embroidery and delicate gold coins on the sleeves — just enough bridal magic without being too traditional. Because she’s a Pune bride, and that balance mattered.
And on the inside? Pure cotton lining and soft pads. Because she should feel as beautiful as she looks, all day long.
The best part? This blouse isn’t just for this saree. She’ll reach for it again and again. 🤍
