This print was one of our more intricate blockprint stories - not just in design, but in ex*****on.
The block itself measured approximately 5.5” x 4.5”, and in hand blockprinting, the costing often depends on how many individual stamps are required within that canvas area to bring the artwork alive with depth, layering, and precision.

For this particular print, the detailing was intense. Every colour, outline, filler motif, and tiny accent demanded its own carefully carved block and perfectly aligned placement by the artisan.

So here’s a little question for the curious minds here -
How many individual stamps/blocks do you think were used within this one surface to create the final print?

Everything we create for kids is made with heart. There’s something truly special about designing for little ones - it lets us reconnect with the child within us too. And for that, we’re deeply grateful.

Our very first Origami blockprinted series was launched ten years ago, right at the inception of the brand. It sold out within days - giving us the confidence to pursue our vision with all our heart.

And here we are, a decade later - held up by the love and trust of so many of you. Some of your little ones may have long outgrown our age groups, yet you continue to recommend us to young mothers, and that means the world to us.
