When did we start believing that being good at something was the reason to keep doing it?

Somewhere along the way, hobbies became skills, skills became achievements, and “I enjoy this” didn’t always feel like a good enough reason anymore.

Children have a lovely way of reminding us that it can be simpler than that. You can try something because it looks fun, get absolutely nowhere with it, and still have had a wonderful time.

Maybe we could give ourselves a little more of that freedom too. ❤️

What’s something you enjoy doing even though you’re not particularly good at it?

Children look at the world with curiosity. They stop to notice the tiny things. They ask why without worrying about sounding silly. They find wonder in things we’ve long stopped noticing.

As adults, we spend so much time looking for answers that we sometimes forget to keep asking questions.

Maybe we could learn a little from children — to stay curious, to wonder more, and to look at the familiar as if we’re seeing it for the very first time ✨

The traditions we grew up with become the traditions our children grow up with, but they don’t have to look exactly the same. ❤️

Sometimes, all it takes is a little room for new ways of celebrating, new kinds of relationships, and new ways for children to see themselves in the stories they inherit.

That’s the spirit behind Kahaani Chamkeeli and so much of what we create at T4Tales.

And right now, all our books are 25% OFF on Amazon India. 📚✨

There are some things you can translate. There are others that just don’t feel quite the same in another language.

A word can carry a story. A phrase can carry a culture. Even the way we joke, show affection, or speak to our family can change from one language to another.

That’s what makes growing up with more than one language so interesting. You’re not just learning new words. You’re discovering that there can be more than one way to describe, express, and understand the same world.

And sometimes, the words you know in one language simply don’t exist in another.

What’s a word or phrase from your mother tongue that you wish had a perfect English equivalent?

Raksha Bandhan is around the corner, and if you’re looking for a gift that goes beyond the usual chocolates and toys, a good book is always a lovely place to start. ❤️

Kahaani Chamkeeli makes for a gift that children can enjoy long after Rakhi is over. It brings a little bit of celebration, storytelling and Indian culture into their everyday reading, with plenty of fun along the way.

And the best part? It’s the kind of gift that can be read together, passed around, and picked up again and again.

This Rakhi, gift them a story they can grow up with. ✨
