The kid is undergoing Binocular Fusion exercise (Eye Teaming).

She was given a significantly high minus power, but later when she consulted Dr. Ranadeb Banerjee the power came down to some extent. Later it was found that her left eye was drifting outwards & the team work of the eyes wasn't optimal...After just 5 days of vision therapy the team work of the eyes improved and reached almost normal levels

Honored to be invited as a Guest Lecturer by the Department of Optometry at the Bhawanipur College of Creative Arts & Applied Sciences; Bhawanipur Global Campus.

Had an engaging & interactive workshop session with Optometry Students & discussed about 'The Behavioral Edge: Personalized Dispensing for Perceptual Perfection'...it was all about the amalgamation of Behavioral Optometry with Ophthalmic Dispensing...two of my favourite areas of interest in the holistic portfolio of Optometry.

This is to update everyone who has been following Somnath's convalescing journey from being deemed refractory to conventional medical treatment due to absolute Visual Impairment & Global Developmental Delay as a result of complex Eye & brain conditions.

Ultimately the efforts paid off...Somnath has achieved independent ambulation 😊

Our treatment & efforts will continue. Still, we seek everyone's blessings for this kid & a genuine prayer for his quick & total visual, developmental & behavioral recovery. This kid is a determined fighter & definitely deserves to be loved🙏🏻 🙏🏻

Now Nisha can identify the parts of her body. She can perform visually guided independent ambulation. She has started understanding & responding by performing basic tasks on command.

She has started identifying 'A' & 'B' too.

From zero balance on ground to balancing on a trampoline & walking on his own & climbing stairs with minimal assistance...
