DAMA works with handloom weaver co-operatives of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana providing design, technical & marketing support. Our aim is to sustain rural livelihoods and promote handloom weaving. Dastkar Andhra Marketing Association (DAMA) was established with the intent of promoting medium skill handloom products as a desirable choice for everyday use. The effort was to support the Primary Handloom Weaver Co-operatives situated in the villages of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana States market their products across the country. DAMA carries forward this mission through creative and innovative marketing strategies, investing in design & production. Strong partnership with our primary producers spanning across 15 villages with 250 weavers helps us achieve our mission. DAMA sells its products on wholesale basis and directly to the end-user. We conduct annual exhibitions in the big cities across the country to reach out to the customers and also enable the ‘touch and feel’ experience of the handloom fabric to customers which is vital for an appreciation of handloom.
