When papa would make sure to pick up diwali outfits, mumma dressing us up, dadu adding his own twist to the pooja and me impatiently sitting through it just to burn the crackers with everyone outside, while sitting sincerely there just for the laddu.
Ohh it was so simple n beautiful back then.
