HOW TO MAKE YOUR CLOTHES LAST LONGER
WASH
Do not let your clothes get too dirty before washing.
Always have clothes dried and aired before washing.
Empty pockets, unfasten buttons and lift collars before washing.
Do not overload washer.
Do not wash at maximum temperature indicated.
HAND WASH
It is advisable to wash white and colored garments separately.
Always use cold water and do not leave soaking.
Allow soap or detergent to totally dissolve before adding garment.
Do not rub garment, squeeze gently.
Rinse thoroughly.
DRYING
Fold the heavy garments so they don’t get out of shape.
Do not expose clothes to the direct sunlight or heavy winds, especially if they have color.
If drying indoors, make sure the area is well ventilated.
Knit garments should be wrapped with a towel and laid on a flat surface, away from sunlight and heat.
Some garments tend to get out of shape, reshape and lay flat to dry.
BLEACHING
Before adding bleach, first read care instruction on label.
Bleach in cold water only, and let it soak for a maximum of one hour.
Do not use any iron, copper or brass receptors.
IRONING
Separate garments according to their labels, and start ironing at lowest temperature.
Wait a few minutes before ironing at a higher temperature.
Garments should be slightly damp when ironing.
Remove with a wet cloth any particle sticking to the iron while it is hot.
