Very few see what it takes to create it.
Working with textile scraps isn’t just about stitching leftover fabric together. Every piece has to be sorted, cleaned, matched, tested, redesigned, and sometimes taken apart and started all over again. There are days when the process feels more exhausting than creative.
As an upcycling designer, my mind constantly swings between,
”Keep going. It’ll all be worth it.”
and
”I don’t know if I can do this anymore.”
